CIFF Guangzhou this year welcomed over 4,100 exhibitors, including influential Chinese brands and major international furniture companies, and attracted 195,082 visitors.
An important fair for the woodworking industry, it lasted for eight days from 18 to 21 March and 28 to 31 March.
The show featured important upgrades and advancements in technology
Trends from the fair reveal that product quality and design have gone up; companies are now customising for different markets; and products that tell are story increasing sell well. The fair also included a new segment this year: furniture for healthcare.
Other highlights include the Pinnacle Awards Asia-Pacific Design Forum & Opening Ceremony, a collaboration between CIFF and High Point Market. The Awards recognises best efforts in design from Chinese and Asian designers.
The China Interiors & Decorations Conference 2018 also revealed current developments in the industry; while the Global Garden Lifestyle Festival 2018 integrated lifestyle, design experience and commercial activities to promote the outdoor furniture sector in an innovative way.
CIFF Guangzhou is one of the anchor events in the Asia woodworking industry, this year attracting over 100,000 visitors
CIFF is working with the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou General Corporation (CFTE), and leading Chinese home furnishing distributor, Red Star Macalline, to co-organise CIFF Shanghai in September.
CIFF Shanghai runs from September 10 to 13 at the National Exhibition & Convention Center in Hongqiao.
